Tyson Fury is one of the “good guys” says Irish stablemate
There would be an abundance of love for Tyson Fury if people knew what the former Irish Champion is really like claims stablemate Con Sheehan.
The undefeated Tipp heavyweight has been afforded the chance to get to know Fury, who has lost his British licence and given up his WBA and WBO World heavyweight titles in recent days, since joining Team Fury earlier this year.
The MGM prospect feels that the divisive figure, who is currently suffering from mental health issues, is misunderstood and claims that he is one of the “good guys” in the fight game.
“Tyson is just a real ordinary down to earth bloke. He’s a great guy, really he is,” Sheehan told Irish-Boxing.com.
“If people knew him for who he actually is he would be loved. He is a genuine and funny guy who would help anyone out in anyway he could. Honestly he is one of the good guys and I wouldn’t say that about anybody if I didn’t think it.”
“Its a shame what is going on and he is getting it rough, but his character will shine through eventually and I am sure he will be back soon.”
