Tyrone McKenna is feeling the pressure says Sean Creagh

Sean Creagh [4(2)-0] believes that the pressure is getting to Tyrone McKenna [11(3)-0-1] ahead of the BUI Celtic Warrior title fight tomorrow night.

The light welterweight duo trade leather over eight rounds on the Belfast Boxnation show at the Titanic Exhibition Centre, and Creagh thinks that he may have gotten under ‘The Mighty Celt’s’ skin somewhat.

Since the fight has been announced the pair have traded Twitter jabs, and underdog Creagh is supremely confident of a victory in the Titanic City. Indeed the 27 year old feels that the trash-talk may be having an effect on McKenna.

Speaking to Irish-Boxing.com the Dubliner outlined his view, explaining how “I don’t think he’s enjoying the build up to be honest with you. He keeps putting up stuff about the betting, he’s looking at the betting, he was getting annoyed with the poll on Irish-Boxing.com because I was ahead, but none of that really matters.”

“It’s just me and him in the ring, I don’t care about any of that, it’s only me and him in the ring. I’m just going in there to do a job, get him out of my way.”

“He’s going to be sorry he took the fight.”

Creagh, on the other hand, claims that he is enjoying the buzz of his first big fight week and is not perturbed about being the away fighter. The Tallaght puncher described how “it’s no pressure, I’m not intimidated by anyone.”

“I’m just enjoying it. There’s no point coming up here and not enjoying it, I’ve done eight weeks of hard training, all the work’s done so now it’s time to enjoy it.”
