Two new Irish fighters added to Ryan Burnett Sky Sports undercard

The ‘Belfast Boy’ card next month is really starting to fill up.

The Sky cameras come to Belfast on June 10th as Ryan Burnett takes on IBF bantamweight world champion Lee Haskins.

This morning a further two Irish fighters were confirmed for the card, bring the total up to eight.

Kieran Farrell-managed duo Padraig McCrory and Sean Magee will both make dream debuts on the bill.

Super middleweight McCrory will be the latest boxer from Immanuel Boxing Academy to take to the ring. The Belfast fighter is highly rated as he comes to the pros, with Farrell noting some similarities to Roy Jones Jr.

Featherweight Magee, trained by his uncle Eamonn and the legendary John Breen, will join gym-mate Feargal McCrory on the card.

North Belfast’s Magee had been due to debut last month at The Devenish Complex, but an opponent’s missed flight would see this fight shelved on the day. Magee would then be involved in an entertaining exhibition contest with Lee Clayton.

The pair will feature alongside Feargal McCrory, Paddy Gallagher, Paul Hyland Jr, James Tennyson, and Matt Wilton on the undercard with more to be announced.
