Two new fight dates for Mark Heffron

Mark Heffron [11(9)-0] will finally return to the ring this November in the first of two fights before the end of the year.

‘Kid Dynamite’ has been waiting for a date for a long while and, like buses, two have come along at once.

The Oldham-born super middleweight of strong Kildare descent will be back in action on Saturday November 5th at the Middleton Arena before stepping into the ring on Saturday December 10th at the Castle Leisure Centre in Bury.

Both contests are scheduled for six rounds.

The Kevin Maree-trained fighter is thought of as one of the best prospects in Britain but has endured a frustrating time since his career-best win over Mateo Damian Veron in Dublin in February 2014. Since then he has fought just twice, including a stunning knockout of the year contender.

The 24 year old will now be looking to build up a head of steam with these two new dates.
