Tommy McCarthy to fight in Manchester this Saturday night

Big Tommy McCarthy fights for the second time as a pro in Manchester this Saturday night.

The former Senior Heavyweight champion, who plans to campaign as a Cruiserweight in the pro ranks, was due to fight on the undercard of Ricky Burns return, but will instead trade leather in Bowlers Exhibition Centre on the undercard of Liam Hanhran and Isac Owusu.

The Belfast puncher will face a yet to be confirmed opponent and will be hoping to build on his impressive debut victory over Rolandas Cesna.
