Sutcliffe injury free and will fight in September- possibly in Belfast

PHILIP Sutcliffe hands are ready to dish out punishment and will be back in eight ounce gloves by September, says new manager Pat Magee.

The Dublin prospect smashed his way to 5-0 with five knock out wins in 2013, but he had issue with hands than that opponent argue are made of stone, but prove brittle in their own right at the turn of the year.

Said issue have now been addressed medically and the former Senior Champion is ready for a ring return.

His manager is eyeing a September return and is considering putting the Dublin fighter on a card in Belfast with stable mate Tommy McCarthy.

“Philip’s hands are fine. He has recovered well and is back training. The specialist said he is ready to return and a second opinion verifies that. He will be out in September the more rest he gives the hand the better. I might do something with him and Tommy in Belfast, why not? They are two names from the amateurs and two exciting fighters,” Magee told Irish-boxing.com

“Philip is such a big puncher, he really punches above the weight and people love a puncher. He has an exciting future ahead of him.”
