In front of some of the most vociferous supports ever witnessed at an Irish fight night, Lynn Harvey had a perfect debut. Boxing at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, the Kilbarrack flyweight, one of only two female pros from this island, showed explosive power to end her fight with Ivana Yaneva inside the opening minute of the first round.

The Celtic Warriors came in to huge cheers and started in an assured fashion, rocking her Bulgarian opponents head bag with quick jabs.

Indeed the first right cross Harvey threw sent her opponent to the canvas. Yaneva shakily rose to her feet but soon found herself on the floor again after a snappy left and the bout was waved off with just 59 seconds of the first round completed.
