Stadium set for double header

01 April 2008 – by Cormac Campbell

Local and national pride will be on the line at the National Stadium on April 19 when Destination Events promote an exciting Irish title double header.

In an all Dublin affair Patrick Hyland will face city rival Paul Griffin at featherweight whilst Hyland’s brother Eddie battles it out with former amateur rival Kevin O’Hara for the super-featherweight crown.

Having excelled in the amateur ranks, all of the boxers are familiar with big nights at the Stadium – but the bill marks a career crossroads for each and every combatant.

From a purely objective point of view the bill is one for the hardcore fight fan. The bouts are evenly matched and given the knowledge the boxers have of one another passionate performances are expected.
