Spike O’Sullivan’s to fight former title challenger and Golovkin foe

GARY ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan will fight Milton Nunez in Madison Square garden on March 14.

Not Sunderland footballing cult hero Milton Nunez, but his Colombian namesake, who has shared the ring with the likes of Sergio Mora, Matt Korobov and Dmitry Chudinov.

Indeed El Misil has challenged mr untouchable Gennady Golovkin for the WBA interim middleweight title.

Nunez form has been sporadic of late and when he has set up in level he has struggled. In fact he has been stopped every time he has fought a world class operator, but he does gives ‘Spike’ the chance to make comparisons with some big names on a card that also see’s Patrick Hyland in action.
