Spike O’Sullivan return to light middle postponed

Spike O’Sullivan’s move down to light middleweight has been postponed.

The Cork puncher was due to fight on a Murphy’s Boxing show in Plymouth, Massachuestes on July 30th.

However, it has emerged that The Celtic Rebel has been pulled from the show due to it being too full.

The fight was due to be the O’Sullivan’s [22(15)-2(1)] return to the ring following his loss to Chris Eubank Jr last December on Sky Pay-Per-View.

The Leesider, one of Ireland’s most well-known fighters, is not too disheartened and is continuing to train towards 154lbs at the Celtic Warriors Gym in Dublin in anticipation of a refixed date.

O’Sullivan’s Celtic Warrior gym-mates Luke Keeler and Niall Kennedy remain on the card in shorter, more flexible, bouts.
