Spike – ‘Eubank is not as good as his father, we have the blueprint to beat him’

Celtic Warrior Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan is 100% confident that he will beat Chris Eubank Jr when the pair meet on Sky Sports at the O2 Arena on December 12th.

The two met in person today for the first time at the pre-fight press conference in London – well, sort of – and afterwards Spike explained his confidence to IFL TV.

This confidence is derived, in part, from the Cork man’s team which includes trainer Paschal Collins and former two-weight World champ Steve Collins.

Steve Collins, of course, twice defeated Eubank’s father Chris Sr (now known as ‘English’) in massive World title fights in Cork, and O’Sullivan believes that this history will help him secure victory next month.

The Leesider explained that “we’ve a blueprint to beat the Eubanks.”

This blueprint is based on the similarities between Eubanks Junior and Senior, with Spike reasoning that “he fights like his father but he is not as good – we know how to deal with him and how to beat him.”
