Sheehan: Big Sexy is better with his mouth than hands-he wouldn’t last four rounds

‘It”s only banter’ Con Sheehan says of his twitter back and forth with ‘Big Sexy’ Sean Turner sounding like a modern day footballer in the process.

‘Bants’ aside, however, you feel their is some weight behind the verbal jabs both big men are throwing at present.

Speaking to Irish-boxing.com recently Sheehan, who will be trained by Virgil Hunter and based in San Francisco, told Turner, he is in a league of his own when it comes to Irish heavyweigths.

He also suggested if the good friends were to fight ‘Big Sexy’ wouldn’t reach the sixth round.

“Turner is a great boxer and even better with his mouth,” Sheehan told Irish-boxing.com.

“We are good mates, most of the slagging is banter, but as far as best heavyweigths in Ireland I believe I’m in a league of my own.

“A fight with Turner would be big, but it doesn’t excite me because if it was anything more than a four rounder I would stop Turner. He knows it too, but hopefully we will fight down the line. I wish him all the best in his career the man is a gentleman and I have huge respect or him.”
