Senior makes successful move to welter- Foley loses title fight
TONY Senior pushed his record to 7-0 and registered his first win as a welterweight in Australia on Saturday.
The former Crumlin amateur was taken the distance for just the second time since turning over and out pointed the experienced Pramool Boonpok at the Punchbowl.
Gearoid Clancy and Tj Doheny also registered victories on the card, but Darragh Foley suffered a frustrating reverse.
The 26 year old light welterweight lost on a split decision to Joebert Delos Reyes in a domestic title fight.
The fight was scored 96-94, 91-95 and 92-94 in the favour of Delos Reyes.
