Second bite of cherry

Belfast puncher Darren Corbett will return to action on April 30 for a second bite at the Prizefighter cherry.

The former Commonwealth champion contested the inaugural cruiserweight event in 2009 – losing in the semi-final to Ovil McKenzie.

Now ‘The Raging Bull’ returns to London for a second crack at Matchroom Sports’ quickfire KO tournament. The line-up for the eight man event has been confirmed – with former WBO heavyweight champion Herbie Hide the biggest draw on the York Hall card.

Other contenders on the card include Mark Krence, John Anthony, Jon-Lewis Dickinson, Wayne Brooks, Zahid Kahut and Leon WIlliam.
