Sean Turner: I am here to beat Anthony Joshua

SEAN ‘Big Sexy’ Turner has set his sights on rising British Heavyweight Anthony Joshua.

The big Dublin puncher’s pro caught the eye with a sensational debut knock out win in Belfast last Saturday and instantly set his sights on Matchroom star and Olympic gold medal winner Joshua after a win that came within eight seconds.

The former Senior Champion twice lost to the big English fighter in the amateurs, but is confident he could get revenge as a pro.

“I want to break all the records. I am here to beat Anthony Joshua and that is what I am aiming for. It would be good to get a few fights under my belt and then aim for Joshua,” Turner said after his fight, before reflecting on the one punch knock out.

“I was delighted with the victory and it was good to get the knock-out. I have trained very hard for this and it was good to put on a good show.

“I hit him with the first shot and he was gone and that was that.

“I wanted to get the four rounds under my belt but I hit him and it was gameover,” he added.
