Roe ready to lay down a maker when he debuts on Saturday night
Debutant Bernard Roe is ready to lay down a marker on a busy weekend for Irish boxing.
Roe, who is out on a Liverpool hosted card, is one of a number of home pugilists in action across Ireland and Britain on Saturday night and is keen to impress.
The Dubliner doesn’t just want to defeat Zaurs Sadihovs, a fighter with a winning 4-3 record he wants to put in a performance and show people what he brings to a growing Irish pro stable.
Speaking to Irish-boxing.com the excited puncher said,
“It feels great to be here now with all the hard work behind me I’m excited to get in now and out on a show. I’m happy that I am fighting someone with a winning record. It is good to test myself this early.
“I’m going out to impress and lay down a marker of what’s to come. Yeah it’s It’s a busy weekend and I’ll be out to make my mark.”
