Road To Rio route confirmed for Irish fighters
AIBA have published their “Road To Rio 2016″ qualification guidelines for AOB, WSB and APB boxers.
The International Boxing Association (AIBA) have confirmed their qualification guidelines for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The 2015 AIBA World Men’s Elite Championships will act as the first qualifier for men and the 2016 AIBA World Women’s Championships will act as the first qualifier for women.
There will also be additional Continental qualifiers for men and women in 2016. Olympic places will also be up for grabs in the World Series of Boxing and AIBA Pro Boxing, which will be introduced later this year.
