Reynolds: My next fight will be my last and HAS to be for an Irish Title

Irish Fight of the Year recipient Stephen Reynolds is ready to go to war again, but claims his next clash HAS to be for an Irish title.
The 40 year old former Irish amateur champion and Irish International of note nigh on had a battle of the ages with Declan Trainor in a Devinish hosted Celtic Title fight last September, but is ready for one more big fight before he calls it a day.
Reynolds reveals that fight however, has to be for an Irish Title and he hopes to soon challenge for the green belt soon.
Speaking to Irish-boxing.com before he was presented with the Fight of the Year award during the February 15 NoWhere2Hyde fight night the old school Sligo fighter said,
“The award is great for both us, not just myself, but for Declan too. It was a great fight and it was a memorable occasion for both us. It is nice for both of us to get recognised. It took me a while to get myself ready to train again. Hopefully I get an Irish title shot now. It has to be an Irish title fight next, it has to be. Hopefully we will get Conal Carmichael or Ian Tims with an Irish title on the line. I don’t know dates yet there are things in the pipeline.”
And asked if he was ready for another tough battle, Reynolds replied,
“I am always ready for war.”
