Reports Frampton Quigg is made are slightly premature

According to reports in Britain today Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg have finally agreed to fight.

The reports suggest the pair will trade leather for ‘The Jackal’s’ IBF super bantamweight World title and possibly the WBA ‘Super’ super bantamweight strap in Manchester on February 27.

Irish-boxing.com is lead to believe an official contract has yet to be signed, but a deal has been agreed in principle.

So as things stand we are the the crossing of T’s and the dotting of the I’s away from the eagerly anticipated clash.

And with Gary O’Sullivan versus Chris Eubank Jr and Andy Lee’s massive WBO middleweight title defence against Billy Joe Saunders set for December Irish fight fans are just a number of days away from officially having another massive Ireland v England clash to look forward to in February,
