Red Hawk go into the West for May 19 show

Roscommon will play host to the South’s first boxing card of the year, as Red Hawk Promotions bring a ’Rock ’N’ Rumble’ card to Castlerea on May 19.
It is into the West for the promotional team run by female promoter Maria Ni Shiuilleabhain serves up an interesting bob and weave and roll and roll cocktail.
Not quiet the burlesque and boxing promised for a show that ultimately went down last year, but Irish boxing’s Iron maiden promises a highly entertaining night of action.
Former Irish light heavyweight champion tops the card and will be looking for a return to winning ways in a WBF Celtic title fight. Christina McMahon will maintain the female sub plot and ensures the fairer of the sexes is represented is on the fight card as well as behind it. Like Waldron, McMahon will fight in a ten round contest.
There will be debuts for Red Hawk’s newest team members Brandon Peake, Michael Waldron and Stephen Reynolds. Whilst Prizefighters Darren Cruise will be joined by Willie Mitchell and Alan Donnellan on the Western show.
