Quigg secures return date and set to follow Frampton to featherweight

Scott Quigg looks set to fight for the first time since Carl Frampton broke his jaw in February.

Eddie Hearn predicts a November 26th return for the fighter who is ‘obsessed’ with a Frampton rematch will come back as a featherweight.

The Bury fighter lost his unbeaten record and the WBA title to Frampton in Manchester earlier this year.

Quigg broke his jaw during that 12 round points reverse and had to watch from the sidelines as Frampton moved up to featherweight and defeated Leo Santa Cruz to become a two weight champion.

The top level action has seemed to move up four pounds with Rigondeuax, Frampton, and Santa Cruz all going north, and it seems Quigg will do the same come November time.

Quigg had talked about jumping straight back into the deep end and will be looking for a relevant opponent on the Anthony Joshua undercard at the Manchester Arena.
