Quigg goads Frampton fans at Belfast press conference

While they made an unbelievable amount of noise today at the final leg of the Frampton-Quigg media tour, Bury’s Scott Quigg was unphased by the massive Belfast crowd.

Indeed the Englishman had a message for the ‘Jackal Army.’ The Matchroom fighter told the hundreds of fans in attendance – “you’ll be leaving Manchester with your tails between your legs.”

The comment was not well-received by the Belfast faithful who vocally showed their displeasure to a smirking Quigg.

In fairness to the Sky fighter, he did seem cool, calm, and collected throughout the exciting press conference and gave a good account of himself amidst the hostile atmosphere.

However, considering the noise generated today, over 100 days away from the fight, we can hardly imagine what it will be like come fight-night on February 27th at the Manchester Arena.
