The Crumlin light welterweight, who recently signed for MGM, will fight on the ‘Genesis’ card at the Greenbank Sports Academy in Liverpool on Friday October 7th.
Sutcliffe said that “I’m excited to be part of what will be a special night. This is my first opportunity to fight in Liverpool and one that can’t come quick enough. I’m focused on putting on a show for the fans, getting another victory and putting myself into title contention”
MGM commented that “we are pleased Phil will make his first appearance for MGM on such a special evening. Liverpool has a rich boxing heritage and I’m sure the boxing fans will welcome the chance to see Phil in action on October 7th.”
Crumlin last fought in Oldham in July, where he knocked out Nicaraguan Geiboord Omier inside a round.
The show in Liverpool will be headlined by Kid Shamrock JJ Metcalf versus Bradley Pryce, and the undercard will feature Luke Keeler-defeater Tom Doran, Ryan Moorhead, Brandon Daord, John Quigley, Gerard Carroll, Tommy Carus, and debutant Sam Maxwell.
