Patrick Hyland added to the Dublin July 4 show

PATRICK Hyland will fight in his home town for just the second time in four years when he trades leather on the ‘New Beginning’ in the National Stadium on July 4.

The former WBA Interim World title challenger returns to the venue were he beat Philippe Frenois back in 2011 and fights on the BoxNation broadcast, Jamie Conlan topped card.

‘The Punisher’ has endured a frustrating period since he lost on points to Javier Fortuna at the MGM Grand in 2012. The Tallaght man was over 18 months out of the ring, due to contractual issues, but is now promoted by Lou DiBella and is looking to get back in the mix over the coming 12 months.

The super featherweight strung together three victories two in America and one in Dublin over the last ten months and will be looking to make it four in a row since his sole reverse come July 4.
