Opponent named for Conrad Cummings

Dynamite Conrad Cummings [9(5)-0-1] has been finally given an opponent for his fight on the Leo Santa Cruz v Carl Frampton undercard at the Barclays Centre.

The Coalisland middleweight will make his New York debut against Michigan’s Dante Moore [9(4)-1(0)-2]

Moore has not fought in over two years, but has mixed it with some decent opposition. The 26 year old’s only reversal was a close points loss to the very competent Decarlo Perez.

The bout will be Cummings’s second Stateside scrap following his impressive win over Oscar Riojas last year in El Paso on the Frampton-Gonzalez undercard. Here the Tyrone puncher weathered an early storm to score an impressive second round knockout.

The Ulsterman’s fight, which will play out over eight rounds, is scheduled to take place at 5pm New York time (11pm Irish time).
