One fight at a time for impressive Melli
ALFREDO Meli is looking for over time before he goes on a Summer break.
The middleweight prospect has impressed with two recent wins and is keen to add another two victims to his record before the season is out.
Speaking after his most recent win over Samet Hyuseinov the Belfast puncher said,
“I fought the wrong fight, but I still came out with a win, that is the main thing. I made it a bit scrappy. I am out on June 6 and we are hoping to be out on June 14 too. Just week by week keep, building fight by fight and keep moving up the rankings.
“Everyone was happy with my win, now to make it 8-0 before the summer is out. My last opponent was a tough wee operator he came to fight and that is the main thing. he took good shots and gave some back.”
‘Fredo’ has a one fight at a time mantra, but is aware if he continues to pile up wins he will put himself in contention for titles.
If I can busy hopefully I can push toward titles by the end of the year. I just have to keep winning and building the record for now.
