Olympic Games loom as Barnes wins again in WSB

Ireland’s Olympic boxing hero Paddy Barnes took a step closer to qualifying for a third consecutive Games after notching up a fourth win in the World Series of Boxing.

Barnes maintained his 100 percent record in this seasons competition with victory over the scrappy Temirtas Zhussupov in Kazakhstan today.

Looking much more experienced and accomplished against an opponent who has his eye on the road to Rio, Barnes saw off Zhussupov’s rough tactics to complete a fourth consecutive victory for Italia Thunder in the World Series of Boxing.
