Oisin Fagan to fight ‘the new Ricky Hatton’ on Return of the Mack Card
FORMER Irish champion Oisin Fagan will trade leather with English prospect Kofai Yates on the undercard of Matthew Macklin’s World title eliminator with Sebastian Heiland on November 15.
The 40 year old veteran takes on a man who trains alongside Dublin trio Anthony Fitzgerald, Declan Geraghty and David MaGuire in Marbella at the 3Arena, a venue he last fought in in 2009.
Considering ‘Casper’, who has been billed by some as the new Ricky Hatton and has a Belfast win over Alec Bazza, is 18 years ‘Gael Force’s’ junior he will be favourite going into the fight.
However if there is one Irish fighter than loves a challenge it’s former Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Amir Khan and Paul Spadafora opponent Fagan.
The will over skill advocate will at the very least give Yates the toughest fight of his career to date.
