Kevin O’Hara’s, 17-5 (5KO) British super-featherweight title fight against Gary Sykes will take place in England on May 28.
The Sky Sports televised, Frank Maloney promoted show will be held in the Huddersfield Sports Centre.
Sykes, 15-0 (4KO) claimed the title with a points victory over Andy Morris at the same venue in March.
Belfast fight fans had been hopeful that the bout would form a Belfast double-header topped by British featherweight champion Martin Lindsay’s second defence which is pencilled in for the city in early July.
