Offaly club to host record-breaking training camp


The biggest ever non-competition gathering of female boxers will take place later this month in ireland.

St Brigid’s Edenderry are to run another of their world famous sparring camps, and this year’s edition looks to be bigger and better than ever.

The camp will run in the Offaly club from the 22nd to the 29th of August.

Over 100 boxers from nine countries will train over the seven days across five rings for which will play host to some furious spars.

The camp will feature boxers from 14 years of age right up to international Elite fighters including the likes of Canadian world champion and Olympian Ariana Fortin and world bronze medalist Sara Kali alongside a whole host of top Irish boxers from the Edenderry club and beyond
