Dublin’s Jay Byrne [1(1)-0] will get a taste of Belfast boxing this October.

The Loughlinstown novice, who thrilled crowds on his professional debut in the National Stadium in June, will box on the MHD Promotions show at the Devenish Venue on Saturday October 8th, just a few days after his 30th birthday.

Byrne debuted at light middleweight, but is aiming to eventually get down to welterweight, and will continue this journey at the popular West Belfast venue.

In addition to the card in the Titanic City, Byrne looks likely to appear on some of the shows planned for Dublin this Autumn and Winter.

The show will be headlined by lightweight fan-favourite Paul Hyland Jr, with additional support from James Tennyson, James Fryers, James Tennyson, Joe Fitzpatrick, Tyrone McCullagh and new MHD signing Ronnie Clark.
