A second name has been revealed to be appearing on Red Corner Promotions’s first show on Saturday November 5th at the National Stadium.

In addition to the already-announced Luke Keeler, there is also a spot on the card for well-supported Balbriggan boxer Ger ‘Crank’ Whitehouse.

The Fingal welterweight, a former European Schoolboys bronze medalist, is known for his passionate fanbase and his always-exciting fights and will step up to six rounds for this bout.

In 2015 Whitehouse won the inaugural Irish-Boxing.com Micky Ward Round of the Year award for his second stanza against Radoslav Mitev at the Red Cow Hotel last November.

That fight was also the 21 year old’s last competitive action and the youngster will be looking to begin a run of more regular fights, starting on November 5th.
