Cyclone Promotions will run their second terrestrially televised show in October.

Following on from May’s show in Cardiff, the Barry McGuigan-led outfit will promote a card in Edinburgh on October 21st at the Meadowbank Arena.

Headlining the bill will be Shane McGuigan-trained Scot Josh Taylor who takes on the experienced and dangerous Dave Ryan for the Commonwealth light welterweight title in what will be just his seventh fight.

The show, which will be shown live on Channel 5 (with additional undercard bouts being aired on Spike), will hopefully also feature some Irish talent.

In pole position to appear will be Conrad Cummings [10(4)-0-1]. Fresh from an exciting win in New York, the undefeated Tyrone middleweight is looking towards domestic titles in 2017. One potential opponent which has been suggested is former Andy Lee opponent Craig McEwan.

Another Irish fighter who will be looking for a slot on the card is Belfast welter Paddy Gallagher [10(6)-2(0)]. The reigning Celtic champion won his belt on the previous Cyclone card in Wales.

Tickets for the show, starting at £40, go on sale tomorrow via Ticketmaster.
