Moore bounces back
07 August 2008 – by Mark Doyle
James Moore made a welcome return to winning ways with an impressive points win over the tough and uncompromising Lloyd Joseph in New York City on Wednesday night.
Light-middleweight prospect Moore lost his proud unbeaten record as a professional when he dropped a controversial decision to Gabriel Rosado in June.
However, there were no signs of self-doubt in the 30-year-old Irishmans demeanour as he coped quite comfortably with the roughhouse tactics employed by his opponent throughout this eight-round bout at the B.B. King Blues Club.
Moore got the nod on all three judges scorecards, 79-73, 78-74 (twice), to get his promising career very much back on track.
