MGM sign up ‘Dark Horse’ of Irish boxing
MGM have snapped up another Dublin fighter and made their Irish signing in less than 24 hours on Saturday.
22 year-old Ciaran Mullen is the latest to Dub to join the stable in Spain.
Mullen might not be know to too many Irish fight fans, but first started boxing when he was 8 and lived in England, his Grandad took him to Finchley Boxing Club.
Mullen, who will debut on the Matthew Macklin undercard in Spain on August 18, is excited to be moving into the professional arena and thinks that MGM is the place for him; “I was thinking about it for a long time,” he said “but I just had to wait for the right time to get the courage and go down to meet the lads! We sat down and talked about it and here we now! It ?s a brilliant set up!”.
MGM Management said “We think Ciaran will be a dark horse in the pro game; you will not meet a hungrier or fitter boxer, with a fantastic attitude.”
