Former Crumlin amateur Conor McGregor will go head to head for the first time with Floyd Mayweather in front of 10,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

According to reports today the two weight UFC World champion and the undefeated boxing legend will kick off their World tour at the famous football ground in London.

The first date of the highly-anticipated Floyd Mayweather Jr v Conor McGregor world tour looks set for Wembley Stadium.

According to multiple sources, former boxing world champion and 49-0 superstar Floyd Mayweather will go face to face with MMA fighter, and current UFC lightweight champion, Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor in only ‘two weeks’ time’.

The tour, which some are predicting will be as if not more entertaining than the August 26 fight, will kick off in under two weeks time and is set to take in a number of cities as the media drive begins.

However, unfortunately for Irish fight fans and Irish press, the reports suggest neither fighters home city has been ear marked as a World tour venue meaning Dublin is likely to miss out.

The  fight itself will take place on August 26 at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
