Matthew Macklin opponent confirmed for this weeks fight in Germany

Matthew Macklin will fight Spain’s Jose Yebes over eight rounds in Germany this weekend.

‘Mack The Knife’ returns to the scene of the crime, Germany, where he was robbed against Felix Sturm in a WBA World title fight back in 2011 and will fight Yebes on the undercard of Paul Smith and Arthur Abraham’s WBO super middleweight title clash.

Yebes, boasts a 12-4-1 record and should prove a decent warm up for the Irish middleweight ahead of a possible World title eliminator in November.
