Massive plans for ‘Pretty Boy’ Geraghty, Big step-up soon

Dublin southpaw Deco Geraghty put on one of the performances of the night in Marbella on Saturday. As part of the undercard of the Matthew Macklin-headlined ‘Lights Out at the Plaza’ dinner show, Geraghty stylishly outpointed dangerous Czech slugger Daniel Bazo over six rounds.

Geraghty, who has plans to move down to super featherweight or even featherweight, was mature in his dismantling of the Central European light welterweight.

After the win, ‘Pretty Boy’ explained that MGM Promotions have big plans for him, starting with his next fight. The 25 year old announced that his next bout, in early November, will see him progress to eight round.

What’s more, Geraghty [9(2)-1(0)] also revealed that he will face a boxer who has previously fought a current world champion. The popular Dub however is keeping the name of this opponent under wraps for the time being.
