Martin J Ward v Anto Cacace – Betting Odds
Odds have finally been released for Anto Cacace‘s big title fight this weekend.
‘The Apache’ takes on British super featherweight champion Martin J Ward, with the vacant Commonwealth title also on the line, on Saturday night.
The fight comes on the undercard of the Chris Eubank Jr v Arthur Abraham clash at the Wembley Arena in London, live on ITV pay-per-view.
At present, Irish bookmaking giant Paddy Power are the only outfit offering a market, and currently only a win market is available.
Cacace starts off as a 7/4 underdog, with Ward the 4/9 favourite to win and retain the Lonsdale belt outright. The draw can be had at 20/1.
The Belfast man has been angling for a title fight ever since stopping Ronnie Clark in the tenth to win the BBBoC Celtic title in October 2015. Ward claimed the British title last September defeating Andy Townend and has since successfully defended the belt against Clark and Maxi Hughes. Against Scotsman Clark, Ward was dropped in the tenth before prevailing on points.
