Marco McCullough [14(9)-3(2)] has signed a management contract with MGM as he looks to reinvigorate his career.

Formerly of Cyclone Promotions and Breen’s Gym, McCullough has relocated to the MGM Scotland Gym in Glasgow, seeking to rebuild from his Commonwealth title loss to Isaac Lowe in February on the Frampton-Quigg undercard.

The Belfast featherweight will fight in a six-round comeback contest on an MGM Scotland dinner show in Glasgow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday 15th September.

On the new signing, MGM Group Managing Director Sam Kynoch explained that “Marco has been over doing some training at the MGM Scotland Gym and he has a real desire to win a major title.”

“He is more than capable of doing so and with Team MGM behind him I believe that he will achieve his goal. His bout in September is about getting him active again – before we then look to get him back into the mix at the top end of the featherweight division.”
