Major additions made to upcoming SK Promotions show

The SK Promotions show in Dublin has tonight been bolstered by the addition of two further fighters.

Stephen Kavanagh’s young outfit returns to the Citywest Hotel in Saggart on Saturday February 3rd for another small hall show – ‘Collision Course’ – looking to build on their debut offering last November.

Already announced for the bill were two of Kavanagh’s fighters at Kilnamanagh BC – featherweight Liam Gaynor [2(0)-0] and super flyweight debutant Eoin McGrath. Tonight they were joined by two boxers from the MTK Global management stable – lightweight Gary Cully [3(2)-0] and light heavyweight Stevie Collins Jr [12(4)-1(0)-1].

Cully made an impressive start to pro life last Autumn, scoring two wins on major Odyssey bills in Belfast but the Naas boxer will now return down south for his first fight close to home.

After being unsuccessful in his maiden Irish title challenge last Summer, Collins linked up with a new trainer in Steven O’Rourke out in St Michael’s Inchicore. He has since scored two rebuilding six-round wins on Ginley Promotions shows in Belfast and will now look to kick on in 2018.

Tickets for the night cost €35 (standard) and €55 (ringside) and are available from the boxers involved.
