Macklin to fight former Chris Eubank Jr foe in comeback fight
Sandor Micsko has stepped in to face Matthew Macklin in Birmingham this Saturday night after original foe Ferenc Albert pulled out with a hand injury.
Although Micsko, who has 25 wins and was stopped by Chris Eubank Jr, is a late replacement he boasts a better record than Albert and indeed a knock out win over the fighter originally penciled in to face Macklin.
Macklin, who returns for the first time since defeat to Sebastian Heiland in November, believes he should win comprehensively and revealed he is still has a burning desire to become a World champion.
Indeed, the former Irish, British and European champ revealed his Promoter Eddie Hearn has been fielding calls re big name fights despite his reverse last time out.
