Macklin and Prizefighter in Dublin this August?

The Boxing rumour mill is churning out Macklin and Prizefighter in Dublin talk.

There were unconfirmed stories of an August 23 fight night in Dublin on Twitter yesterday.

It was suggested Matchroom are coming to Dublin and will put three time world title challenger Mattew Macklin on top of a Prizefighter The Middleweight’s bill.

Free agent Macklin had claimed that he was hopeful of a return to Ireland in the Summer after holding talks with a number of interested parties.

However, while it certainly looks like Dublin is an option for ‘Mack The Knife’, whether or not it happens this Summer remains to be seen. The boxing rumour mill one that never stops working, but it is rarely as accurate as it is active.
