Luke Keeler to top Red Cow show on September 12
THE disappointment felt by Dublin fight fans upon hearing ‘The Return of the Mack card’ set for the National Stadium on August 30 was cancelled will be somewhat offset by the news boxing returns to the capital next month.
Middleweight prospect and ticket seller Luke Keeler, who was due to fight Paul Moffett on the aforemention Matchroom August 30 show, will top a September 12 show in the Red Cow.
Also on the card will be former Senior Champions Ian Tims and Sean ‘Big Sexy’ Turner. Tims will be looking to rid himself of some ring rust before attempting a move toward title contender status.
Heavyweight ‘Big Sexy’ hopes to build on his sensational debut win-Turner registered a knock out with the first punch he threw as a pro- and try and drum up interest in his home town.
Matthew Wilton will travel down from Belfast and will be hoping to extend his unbeaten record in his first Dublin hosted fight.
Like Turner Ciaran Bates also won a Belfast hosted debut via first round knock out and like Turner will be fighting for a second time as a pro on September 12 in his home town.
