Low Blows: Dean Walsh

Irish boxers take aim at their team mates every Wednesday with Low Blows, and nobody is safe once the verbal punches start flying.

This week it is the turn of three-time Senior Elite champion and 2015 European bronze medalist Dean Walsh

Q: Hardest Trainer?
A: That would have to be Big Breakfast [Dean Gardiner] or Brendan Irvine. They both always put everything into a session.

Q: Biggest Moaner?
A: Either Paddy Barnes or Joe Ward… definitely Joe Ward actually, the man never stops giving out. If it’s one round sparring he would ask for a minute-long round.

Q: Funniest?
A: Without a doubt Sean McComb. He know how to brightened the place up, “come here youuu!”

Q: Biggest Ladies’ Man?
A: Conor Wallace, and the only reason why he gets the women is because he’s glued to the sunbeds all day everyday. Has different women on the phone to him every time.

Q: Most Intelligent?
A: Darren O’Neil. A top man that has brains to burn.

Q: Least Intelligent?
A: Kurt Walker. Does everything backways.

Q: Hardest Puncher?
A: That would have to be Sean McComb or Adam Nolan.

Q: Most Naturally Talented?
A: Michael O’Reilly or Michael Conlan. The two lads are gifted so they are.

Q: Cheapest?
A: That would have to be Myles Casey or Michael O’Reilly. The two lads wouldn’t spend a penny between them.

Q: Worst Dancer?
A: I believe I’m the best dancer, but the lads all told me I’m the worst, so here, I put my hands up to that – but Paddy Barnes isn’t too far behind me

Q: Worst Dress Sense?
A: Dean Gardiner. The worst. By far.

Q: Biggest Messer?
A: That’s between myself, Sean McComb, and Paddy Barnes.
