Lindsay to warm up for title shot with Belfast fight on Saturday night

MARTIN Lindsay will warm up for his May 21 Commonwealth title fight with a Belfast bout this Saturday night.

The popular Belfast fighter will trade leather on the ‘Road To Glory’ card in the Devenish Complex a bid to rid himself of some ring rust, before he challenges Josh Warrington for the domestic strap.

The former British champion hasn’t fought since he lost to Lee Selby on the undercard of Carl Frampton’s knock out win over current IBF super bantamweight world champion Kiko Martinez 14 months ago so will welcome the work out.

James Tennyson, Dee Walsh, Paul Hyland, James Fryers, Alfredo Meli and Derek Potter will all take to the ring in a packed show.
