Liam Gaynor secures debut date

Liam Gaynor will make his professional debut next month.

The Tallaght lightweight has turned pro under long-time trainer Stephen Kavanagh at Kilnamanagh BC and will punch for pay for the first time onSaturday May 27th.

Gaynor has become the ninth fighter added to the massive Celtic Clash 2 card at the National Stadium in Dublin.

The Dublin youngster joins Eric Donovan, Crank Whitehouse, Sean Creagh, Stephen Carroll, Vladimir Belujsky, Lynn Harvey, and fellow debutants John Joyce and Regan Buckley on the packed bill which is promoted by Leonard Gunning and Tony Davitt.

Many more boxers are still expected to be announced soon for the card, which promises to be one of the biggest, in terms of number of fighters, in Irish boxing history.

Tickets for ‘Celtic Clash 2: The Rising’ will be priced at €15 (Under 15s), €30, €40, €45, and €55 (Premium), and will be available from the boxers involved in the near future.
