Lewis Crocker secures date for second fight

Belfast phenomenon Lewis Crocker [1(1)-0] will return to the ring this Summer.

The 20 year old welterweight has this evening been confirmed for the Belfast BoxNation show at the Waterfront Hall on Saturday June 17th.

It is a return to the venue of Crocker’s debut, with the South Belfast youngster scoring a sensational 66-second stoppage of Ferenc Janko in the Hall last month.

That time saw ‘The Croc’ feature early on in the bill, but it is hoped that Crocker will be featured as part of the televised broadcast on June 17th.

The Ulsterman will be hoping to continue the unbeaten run of the new Immanuel Boxing Academy, whose fighters have gone 4-0 in recent months.

The first addition made to the bill, Crocker joins Jamie Conlan and a lightweight tussle between Steve Ormond and Craig Evans on the Paddy Barnes-topped bill.

More announcements, and ticket details, are expected in the coming days.
