These are the places where true boxing greatness took place and where some of the most legendary boxers showed their skills in front of the thousand fans. Sure, for a great fight all you need is a 20’ by 20’ squared circle and two great fighters, but the best fights and the most expensive ones took place at some really famous venues. So sometimes the places where the fight took place, end up becoming celebrated along with the fighters.

- MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas witnessed some really legendary fights in recent years. In 1997 spectators at this magnificent hotel and casino attended infamous “The Bite Fight” between Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson, and in 2015 spectators witnessed “The Fight of the Century” between undefeated five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. MGM Grand is called Mecca of boxing, and almost every huge fight in past decade happened in that Arena. MGM Arena is in the perfect location, surrounded by sold-out musical residencies, slot machines, and the famous blackjack tables where many celebrities have played. - CEASAR’S PALACE
The pulse of professional boxing world moved in late 1970’s from Medison Square Garden to Las Vegas, where Arena at Ceasar’s Palace emerged as a premier venue for many championship fights. Many great boxers fought at Ceasar’s Palace: Sugar Ray Leonard, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield and Oscar De La Hoya are just some of them.
Legendary Muhammad Ali lost his final title fight at Ceasar’s Palace in 1980. So this Arena earned the place in this list.
- MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
Madison Square Garden is “the home of boxing” and since opening in 1879 this legendary Arena saw many legendary fights and boxers. Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Lennox Lewis are just some of the legendary fighters that fought in Madison Square Garden over the years. It is a well-known quote from Hall of Famer, Ken Buchanan who said: “Once you have boxed there (Madison Square Garden) you can die in peace.”
