Kiko Martinez hails Carl Frampton as a true Champion
A post fight trip to hospital meant Kiko Martinez wasn’t available to talk to press after he lost his IBF super bantamweight to Carl Frampton on Saturday night.
But the former Champion of the World took to Twitter to praise ‘The Jackal’ and hailed him as a ‘true champ’.
Martinez, who earned the respect of local fight fans thanks to a brave performance and never say die attitude, also took time to thank the fans for the post fight reception he received.
